My husband and I recently started a community group at our church with another couple. It's small, and allows us to have a group to be absolutely vulnerable with, to enjoy life with, to have fellowship. Sunday mornings can be hard connecting, because we're usually serving in some capacity. Sunday evenings are a time to reflect on the sermon, and our weeks.

I also find this especially challenging when,by Gods grace over the years, he has given me “the best kind” (thinking of CSL) of relationships. My wife is my closest of friends on earth and I also have a few good friends to who I “enjoy life and shared suffering with to the glory of God” (love that line). So this too is isolating. I have “enough”. But the obligation, or perhaps loving obedience, to the call to connect…. We are formed for that, I pray we all as followers of Christ reach out in grace more….
