Lecture on Christianity and the Good Life

This past weekend I visited Fox Hill and spoke at the PloughStack Sustaining Revival conference. I got a chance to speak about Christianity and the Good Life. What I didn’t get to do was write an article for today. I was speaking and conferencing all day Saturday and as I wrote about recently, I avoid writing on Sunday. I hope and plan to write one for Tuesday or Wednesday for paid subscribers, but in lue of my regular Monday post, I’m sharing this lecture.
On another note, someone recently asked me how they could help share my newsletter. This didn’t used to be a hard question. You could just post it to Twitter and Facebook and hundreds or thousands of people would see it. And while those platforms still have some value, increasingly they downgrade links. Instead, there are a few things you can do.
You can give a gift subscription to someone
You can forward an email to someone who might enjoy it
You can send a direct link to the article via email or text
You can encourage someone to subscribe
You can recommend the Substack on your Substack
You can share on Substack’s notes
